Several days ago I installed some “Kerb Crawlers”, they’re one of the plethora of 3M stick on rim protectors to help avoid damage to the edge of the wheels. I was fastidious cleaning the wheels and drying them first and then applying the provided cleaner and activator, warming the rims and the kerb crawlers up nicely and sticking them on making sure everything was tickety boo and then leaving the car for three days before I drove it on a fish and chip run to Whitby, the first one fell off on the way there and a second on the way back, I pulled the other two off myself (extremely easy), what a total waste of money, they’ve also damaged my paintwork neat the rear wheel as they swung around wacking the car before they fell off, don’t get them whatever you do, absolute rubbish. 🤬
