After much research, this tracking device was found to be the best solution to monitor our vessel & trailer while in storage away from our residence. As an added precaution, we included a few visual deterrents on the trailer too (locks, wheel cabling, etc). However, if the boat & trailer move outside the geo-fence we created, we'll be notified and can track its location. We made several "test runs" with the device just to be sure notifications methods were working (email & text). LoneStar personnel were helpful answering questions before & after our purchase.
