My cat pees high, regularly leaving puddles of pee on the floor. I didn't choose the top entry box as I felt the regular door would be more similar to what my cat was used to & with time, he may no longer be able to use the top entry litter box.I had hoped this litter box would be the solution to the problem. Unfortunately I was wrong. My cat pees on the lid and the urine gets between the box and the liner, resulting in an even bigger mess for me to clean up; despite having more than enough litter in the bottom of the box. If I don't use the liner, I may as well have saved myself the cost of this litter box and kept the one I was already using. Aside from the litter box not fixing the problem, it is attractive and durable. Shipping was fast and Modkat responded quickly to my queries. I forgot to order the holder for the filter.Don't throw away the box it in which it was shipped to you until you know for sure your purchase actually resolves the problem.
