We dined at Mooyah in Baton Rouge on Siegen location many times right after it was opened in 2017. At the beginning, everything was right on from service to foods. Then slowly Mooyah slipped & failed to maintain the quality that we all expected. Of course, we stopped eating there because the prices were climbing and the foods were shrinking! This is even before the pandemic! Anyway, my boy had Mooyah craving so we stopped there for a late lunch. I didn't eat bc it's too expensive for me. We saw a combo special advertised for $9.99. So he ordered that but upgraded a shake instead of fountain drink. I was in the car & startled when he showed me the receipt of $19.32. This $19.32 was for a burger, personal size fries & a large shake. I've personally never spent that much for lunch before. I spoke with the mngr & she was nice enough to explain that bc he upgraded to larger size they had to ring it separately! My boy told me that he specifically asked for the combo but the cashier said she didn't hear him. Oh well, tough lesson here. The crazy thing is he even added the tips to the receipt!!! 😆MOOYAH, MOOYAH, that was the last time we will ever eat at your restaurant! Your food qualities are thumbs down!!! Downhill. BTW, the place was empty when we're there. GHOST TOWN either too expensive or not great quality!
