Here is a review for the OWL. I feel like I'm more or less one of the very few who are submitting a review like this and I'm mechanically inclined. The website states it takes around 10 hours to build which couldn't be further from the truth for me at least. Although I am a perfectionist so I want it to look exactly like they have it. This took me about 40 hours to build and thank God I bought an electric screwdriver. This is not my first metal puzzle build either. Several parts have inconsistencies with the machining, the nose/talons threading is not deep enough so the nose is loose and certain plates are not cut the same so it looks off. When handling the owl, the nuts have a tendency to come loose so I recommend using metal superglue or loctite. If you screw them too tight you risk shearing them off and sometimes you have to loosen them up to get other future steps done so it can get complicated. Lots of micro adjustments and going back to other steps to make sure future steps fit. Some steps the screw that they instruct you to use is too short so I have to forgo one or two parts to make it fit. If you screw too tight then it will take other steps out of alignment so it's a very delicate balance. Basically you gotta MacGyver your way thru some of the steps.I requested replacement parts a week ago and they said they would provide tracking to me a week ago. Still nothing. I went and got the parts from a friend instead. In the end, the owl came out exactly as they present it and it is a really cool looking piece. The journey to get there was just really tough.
