⛔ OMG! AVOID TRIPOLLAR ⛔ Big alarm bells should be ringing for this company and their products, folks. Be aware, be very aware. No fault of mine but they're trying to retain my money! I think we all may be getting shafted big time here. They sent me their new line device ENVIG (a £700 device sent by ordinary uninsured post..does that tell you something??) I returned it because it was faulty (wouldn't charge or power up properly after 2 sessions of use). To be honest it was a rather flimsy, inferior quality plastic gadget.I've now completed a bit of research on the range of TRIPOLLAR products, its customers are saying the same right across the board..POOR QUALITY, POOR PERFORMANCE, HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO MONEY BACK..ESSENTIALLY A RIP-OFF. I had to pay for Special Delivery to return it. That cost around £9, they said they wouldn't refund that as should have used their prepaid label (is that because the device is virtually worthless?)Their Royal Mail Freepost label is a worry. Royal Mail told me categorically that for a device of that value, if it was posted using the company generated return label, in the event of loss the item wouldn't be covered for a claim as it's insufficiently insured. Their prepaid ROYAL MAIL 48 hour return label is NOT APPROPRIATE but be aware that it is YOUR problem not theirs if you're sending something back and it gets lost or doesn't arrive...if they didn't receive a return it would be the responsibility of the sender ( you, the customer!) to claim for the loss which you wouldn't be able to do as it's not covered. How bad is that?! You'd have lost your parcel and lost your money! They've now refused a refund saying they tested the product and it's working..( I'd love to see what their testing facility looks..kitchen worktop perhaps?)..suggested I might be charging it the wrong way when all it has is one charging cable like a phone..! Here are the facts: I bought the project in good faith and would never have sent it back had it been working. I have a statutory entitlement to reject a product that is faulty and one that is not fit for purpose but clearly now I'm dealing with them I can see through how they operate and I feel really aggrieved by getting treated like that. They've got the device back and are keeping my money!! Bullying me via Customer Service to accept a repair. I don't want anything to do with this company at all after this kind of treatment. I'm blown away as they are simply ignoring their responsibilities as online sellers and do not acknowledge the rights of consumers in relation to faulty goods. They've mostly ignored my emails, I only received a response to a complaint letter I wrote, as advised by local Trading Standards, to which they replied they refused to refund as I'm not entitled, citing their 'policy' which puts customers at a disadvantage (it's not worth the (digital) paper it's written on- would love to see them use that policy in a court)! The last thing in the world I would want now is a product of theirs and I do not trust the brand nor do I trust the product's functionality nor do I trust or have any confidence in the people who run it. This is the worst instance of bad customer service I've ever come across. I need now to go to the Ombudsman and potentially the small claims court just to get my money back. My God, I paid them in good faith and they have simply kept my money. I'm absolutely gobsmacked. It's appalling. Buy from these charlatans at your peril, ladies. Doing some research, others' experiences across multiple sites tell a similar story. I wish I'd done that before I bought the thing. It might be useful to collect a bank of evidence to support people's claims against them and if anybody can share their experience please contact me. Perhaps a few journalists might want a story. Consumers need to be protected from companies like this. I know now that the beauty gadget industry for this type of product is unregulated(😱) and that's why you have companies like this getting away with ripping us off, so please be careful about what you use on your face and I would suggest rather strongly that you fully consider the negatives about Tripollar and its products ..the reviews speak for themselves..go check out a few review sites . you'll also potentially avoid a rather large hole in your bank balance. I hope that the company might wish to respond to this review because anything that is written by them is then in the public domain. Why won't you give me my refund TRIPOLLAR?🙏Be fair, and do the right thing. I'll edit this post once the claims against them are complete. Apologies for a long post but it's really important that people read the experiences of others and avoid spending hard-earned cash to get an experience like that.
