If ANYTHING goes wrong with your order shipment, if your package gets returned to sender because of circumstances outside of your control, or if you need to return an item for any reason, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A SHIPPING COST FOR YOUR ORIGINAL ORDER. This is the case especially if you qualifIed for free shipping! Paying to ship an item back is understandable, but RETROACTIVELY charging for a shipping fee that was $0 because the return brings the order total below their free shipping threshold is unheard of. The worst part is that there is no disclosure of this amount in any concrete form (in an itemized invoice or a precise disclaimer before beginning a returns process). This is a very inconsistent online retailer. Unfortunately, this experience has turned me off from the brand as a whole; for the luxury or professional price point, you’d expect a luxury or professional customer service experience to match.
