Yes Capri is beautiful and an absolute gem to visit, but what made our visit extra fabulous was calling Villa Due Marine home for 2 weeks. Perched near the top of a cliff that overlooks Marina Grande, Capri Town, Monte Solaro and almost Marina Piccola the location and views were magnificent! Being able to walk just about everywhere of interest made this Villa location very useful. Groceries,dining of every type,beautiful walks and of course incredible shopping are right down the steps of this Villa. We anticipated eating out, but honestly, once you discover all the little shops that have amazing fresh produce,meats,baked goods and everything else a chef could imagine,we took advantage of the Villa's wonderful kitchen and incredible deck for 90% of our meals.It was fantastic! The kitchen has everything necessary to cook anything you would at home. The Villa itself is very well maintained and furnished with amazing and unique treasures and artifacts that give the feel of a 5 star penthouse. The Summer in Italy crew were beyond Great and went above and beyond to make our stay and experience extra special and flawless. Special thanks to Nadia! We are avid travelers and were super impressed with the Villa, the location and the management and would recommend Villa Due Marine 100% The only thing that could complicate a stay is the fact that because this Villa is literally perched on a cliff there are many steps to navigate before you get blown away by this incredible place. We actually began to enjoy the steps because we knew what was waiting at the top. Paradise!!
