A couple weeks after the estimated delivery date my order still hadn't shipped. I decided to do a reverse image search of the doll I had ordered, and found it on AliExpress for $100 USD cheaper than I had bought it for. The pictures of the so-called "Premium Custom Blythe" dolls on the website are the same pictures of fake Blythes (aka "factory Blythes", they are reproductions of the original product by Takara) which can be bought for much cheaper on AliExpress. I believe this seller is buying the dolls cheap from China and reselling at huge markup. If you don't believe me, look up the store "The show!" on Aliexpress and you will see several of the dolls listed on ThisIsBlythe.com.What is even worse is the custom OOAK dolls listed on their site are pictures taken from custom doll artists. This Is Blythe lists them at a price 2x higher than the original artist's price. I believe they are trying to earn money off of these artists' hard work.I contacted the seller asking for an explanation and several days never received a reply. They didn't give an explanation to why my doll hadn't shipped, either. I do not trust this seller and would not purchase from them again.***************EDIT Oct 24 2020: After days of not hearing back from the seller (not even a courteous "We are busy right now, can I get back to you in a few days?") within about an hour of me posting my Trustpilot review I received a looooooooong, super passive-aggressive email from the seller threatening to take legal action if I did not take my review down. After this I noticed my shipment had been updated from "pre-transit" to "in transit".I just received the doll yesterday, in a crappy, not very sturdy packaging. I really wish I could post a picture here because the box LITERALLY has an AliExpress shipping label on it. That confirms my suspicions that they are an Aliexpress reseller.
