Ascend was too good to be true. Ben has been amazing. Originally my husband and I were using FDR. FDR was horrible. They took an already stressful situation and made it worse. Their so called customer service was abhorrent. Their failure to make a payment after taking money from our account put us in in peril of having to pay a negotiated settlement in full with penalties, when all we had was one payment left. Although the situation was rectified by me.. All FDR’s manager had to say was well your the one who got yourself in the situation to need us! That was it. Thankfully Ben from Ascend had contacted me asking if he could pick my brain for some suggestions. We had an enjoyable conversation and at no time did he ask me to transfer our debt to him. After the 3rd fiasco with FDR I contacted Ben who took control and regonitated our remaining debt. So happy we have one more to go and Ascend has been a breath of fresh air.
