We had a good visit to Costa Rica with a great guide to see the rainforest and the Tarcoles River.Although we saw little bird or animal wildlife on our walk, as most are nocturnal, we appreciated the atmosphere with lots of sounds from the hiding creatures and the guide was very informative. We did catch up with a poison dart frog, iguanas, lizards and a variety of birdlife. On the river, we did spot some crocs at close quarters but the array of bird species were the highpoint.
