With such an interesting new destination anticipation was perhaps too highThe lectures aboard were very interesting English professor and Cuban Lecturers were both good offering different viewpointsExcellent presentation on Bay of Pigs and Cuban missile crisis Cuba itself was very interesting Great people Art Music and Culture Onboard entertainment needs help I love Lucy reruns insulting to everyone’s intelligence as was too much trivial trivia however the musical duo were greatEnjoyed the Piano Bar and always friendly helpful and accommodating on the tours and cocktail parties Too many announcements from an inexperienced Cruise Director who kept telling us he was a Jet Blue Airlines attendant !Upgrade to a bilingual leader Great entertainment by all the Musical groups ashore especially Buena Vista Social Club Most shoreside lunches were fine at the local restaurants and Paladars except at Trinidad Coffee plantation food options were poor and seating not well organized Havana was great superior to other ports definitely a WinnerSome tours were far too long for us Break them into optional morning and afternoon trips Allow more free time on overnight stops I don’t need quite so much propaganda from tour guides but generally most werevery good Onboard food was superb room service and Hotel staff were all very friendly efficient and pleasant making it feel like homeCaptain and Hotel Director were outstanding Cuba is a great destination I’m sure once they improve onboard entertainment with a more experienced expedition leader it will greatly add to the voyage!
