Barbara, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for organsing the “Austrian “ part of our holiday. Both Daniel and I had a wonderful time. From your suggested accommodation through to your recommendations for restaurants and activities.We used your detailed plan as a guide and decided on the day what we would do. Daniel and I did the Hallstat salt mine tour. It was one of the best tours we have done. Very informative, interactive . It happened to be Mother’s Day, so as you would imagine the village was very busy. We didn’t end up going into Hallstat itself . We loved Mt Krippenstein and understood why you recommended staying at the lodge! Spectacular!Daniel and I loved Salzberg and the Salzkammergut mountain/Lake District.We ended up staying longer in this area. We got to the Wauche Valley late afternoon on the 14th so didn’t have time to do Melk Abbey etc. Both Daniel and I realised we tried too put too much in our 4 days. There is so much to see!We left for the airport at 7am for a 1045 flight,Due to traffic etc, it honestly took 3 hours from the hotel to airport flight gate! Barbara, without your local knowledge we wouldn’t have seen as much as we did. We really appreciated your time taken in organising our trip.We will certainly be in touch when we visit Austria again.
