The value assessment I was initially given appears to be nothing more than a "gimmick" to get the customer to submit their watch and to mail it in. Once the watch is received by Watch Chest someone will call and state that they "couldn't see" in the submitted photos that the watch had certain other "problems". The company then offers substantially less than originally offered.This is a bait and switch process in my opinion. They are given clear, close-up photos but claim they couldn't notice the other "issues". I believe this to be a preplanned method of paying less for each watch than had been originally offered. This company determines that most people will, after going to the trouble of mailing in the watch, simply take the lesser offer. Shame on this company for employing this method of doing business.
