I witnessed WellPets in Gillingham Kent refuse to even look at a kitten with her chest ripped open unless a obscene amount of money was paid upfront. The owner who had rescued the kitten begged for them to look at her and begged them to do a payment plan for the obscene amount. The owner of the kitten was told "your pet your responsibility" as she begged for them to help. The owner was registered to PDSA and showed proof of benefits including disability. When the owner cried she did not have the whole amount to give them so what option was there the receptionist replied "well we can take it and put it to sleep or pay the money. They had not even looked at the poor kitten. The owner left sobbing with the kitten. Disgusting company! Absolutely vile
