We landed in Faro on time, however as Yellowfish had alerted us that passport control area had massive delays. With their clear instruction at top of the voucher in Red 'Please contact us on +351 919 150 078 as soon as you are about to clear passport control / when you have collected all your luggage and belongings', I called this number, to be told our transfer had departed without us, because it was 1 hour after our landing time. I was told that I had been telephoned but had not answered. However I reviewed no call and had no missed calls, I received no incoming call from Yellowfish. We were then told that they would try to find a driver and would have to pay again but never heard anything back from Yellowfish. We felt abandoned and vulnerable at the airport and took a long time and 100 Euro to get to Alvor at 2am (we landed at 9:30pm). After using yellowfish previously and recommending to all our friends, I am really angry at the way we were treated. Why did they make the request not to contact you until after passports, knowing there was a big issue with big time delays and then just leave us? I sent an email highlighting these issues but had received no response. I would now advice to avoid this company!!
