I have had a few occasions where I've learnt to drive and after a couple of bad experiences at test centres with an unprofessional examiner, it completely shattered my confidence where I truly believed I would never pass my test because of the damage they caused to my confidence, after a break due to Covid and just putting it off, I decided later last year a fresh instructor was maybe a good call too and to start from scratch & it was the best decision I've ever made. Just wish I'd have gone with Steph from the start of my learning journey as her teaching methods are absolutely brilliant, & I would probably have passed years ago, she said I was able to drive from day one of me meeting her but she worked on my confidence for the test day as my nerves would cause me to flap & make silly mistakes. On the day of my test I was seriously considering cancelling due to nerves & flashbacks to the other test centre experiences but she was giving me affirmations and building my confidence right up to the test centre door and I ended up passing in York with only 3 minors. We clicked so well and she is a huge advocate for her students, her methods of teaching are just brilliant I cant explain how she makes it work. Her feedback is always fair and truthful & you can tell she is just a genuinely nice person in and out of work. My son will be old enough to drive in a few years and he's already said he wants to learn with her too, she takes her job so seriously & educates students on how important it is to be a good driver as its no joke been out on the roads. I am so glad my path crossed with Steph as she will be someone who I will recommend to anybody but also look forward to seeing her around in the future! Thank you so much
