I had the pleasure of having Richard as my driving instructor for the past 3 months in York. Throughout the experience, he was incredibly supportive, teaching me the fundamentals of driving from scratch. More importantly, he continually built my confidence behind the steering wheel so that when test day arrived, I felt more than prepared, and I managed to pass on my 1st attempt just recently. Richard was always a calming presence in the car, and his communication was very clear, pointing out both my strong points and things to improve on at the end of every lesson. Richard also structured the teaching in such a way, that I felt every single lesson was a bit more challenging than the previous one. This made the lessons both challenging in their own right, but also enjoyable and something to look forward to in the week, as well as allowing me as a student to see constant improvement in my driving. I’m very happy with Richard’s guidance and I couldn’t recommend him enough to any learners, irrespective of their level or stage of learning in driving. Richard will both improve your driving skills and confidence behind the wheel without a doubt.
