Ordered a Tonneau cover kit will all the hardware and tools that go with it. The box that arrived was perfectly intact, but the only items included were the cover, two side rails, instructions and two loose screws rolling around in the shipping box. The hardware, clamps and tools that were supposed to be included were missing. The response I got when I emailed customer service was that they could refund me up to $70 so I could go and find these parts myself. There’s a reason why I spent money on the kit, everything I paid for should be included. All of which I told customer service while emphasizing that in no way would I accept that as a solution. After two separate calls, I thought that my concerns were finally understood. But their second email offer was the same insulting one as the first. $70 refund. If I wanted to DIY this project, I wouldn’t have gone and bought a kit obviously. I’ve worked 10+ years in customer service and I’ve never encountered anything as bad as this. Bare minimum, I expect an exchange for the same item (which will hopefully have all the items included), or a full refund. Anything else is just insulting. If my request for an exchange actually gets approved on their end, I might just give this review an extra star. Either way, this will be my first and last time shopping at Yita.
