I was directed to You lend by EBay , as an EBay seller I responded to the Ad as You lend claim ( as a selling point) No interest charges for any loan provided by them only an upfront fixed charge - £90 per £500 borrowed.
However a few hours after receiving the loan funds into my bank account I have instructed YouLend that I wish to withdraw from the process and to return the £5OO. I really don’t need such a small loan I thought it may be useful to build a relationship with a business lender for the future to secure a more helpful funding for my small business.. however after reading the reviews on Trustpilot- which I foolishly only stumbled upon after receiving a review request from YOULEND - minutes after receiving my funds, I read some horrific reviews about YouLends dubious tactics. I have withdrawn from the contract and shall update this review when they actually address my instruction. Update to follow- if I don’t receive a response by Tuesday 17th feb 2026 I shall instigate legal proceedings and report this company to the FCA.
