I ordered the Fertility Focus bundle (£299) using a 15% voucher code for new customers (NEWBIE15). This brought the price down to £254.15. However, when I checked my bank account, I had been charged £299. I was very upset by this. What’s more, within hours of ordering the kit, I changed my mind for different reasons and sent Daye a few messages via their website requesting a cancellation of my order (they have no number which is frustrating). I heard nothing back and instead, received the package for the tests the very next day. I appreciate it may have already been packaged but I sent a cancellation request literally within a few hours and this seems to have not been read. Again, I messaged Daye asking for a refund/cancellation and for next steps. It took a few days for them to finally respond and I was told; “At this stage, because your kit has already been delivered, we are able to offer you an 80% refund to account for the packing and shipping of your kit”. I am absolutely horrified at this response. I responded with “Charging me 20% for postage and packaging would equate to £59.80 which is an excessive amount of money for postage of a small box? It would not be a full refund at all to charge me nearly £60 for something I have not used and something I can post back to you if desired. I emailed Daye hours after making the order requesting a cancellation, I do not think it’s fair for me to pay such a hefty fee for delivery. Please can you speak to your manager and waiver this 20%. Paying £59.80 when I should have the right to change my mind is very upsetting and not much of a refund at all. Also, as mentioned, I was overcharged as well”. I also pointed out that on their website under the terms and conditions, it states that if a customer asks for refund correctly (within 14 days of purchase) then a full refund including of delivery should be given. “Users who correctly withdraw from a contract will be reimbursed by the Owner for all payments made to the Owner, including, if any, those covering the costs of delivery”.I understand that the package has been delivered and I am happy to return this, but to try and charge me £60 for a product I have not even opened just because I changed my mind within a few hours (which is my right as a consumer) is absolutely disgusting in my opinion. I will await a response from Daye but I’m sure they will take their time as once again I have not heard anything back all day despite sending the above message in the morning. Not a nice experience at all. To the founder Valentina - I was moved by your ethos of wanting to help women’s health, but please honour basic consumer rights.
