I ordered Daye’s vaginal microbiome test. I should start off with saying that the product delivery, instructions and packaging were all great. I have not had my test results yet so cannot comment on that part. I am compelled to give a two star rating because I discovered at the testing stage (once I’ve opened all the packaging) that the test medium contains animal products, Bovine Serum and Gelatine. After having paid £100+ for the test and needing the results before a procedure I had no option but to continue the test. As a Vegan this was against my values. I didn’t recall the description mentioning that the product used animal products, I had a look back on their FAQ and neither was it there. There are other companies a lot more upfront about whether their products contain animal products.
