I used Kith and Kin to create a book for my mother's birthday. I asked my own family, all my siblings, their spouses and children to contribute their thoughts and photographs to the project. Kith and Kin made what should have been a time-consuming and logistically challenging project a very easy and stream-lined effort. They provide a template of questions that are delivered by email or text to each person you have requested contribute to the project. The contributors are given the option to respond to all of the questions or simply as many as they feel moved to answer. They are also given the option to upload photos from their electronic devices. The website allows you to send timely reminders to your group to prompt them to complete their submissions. Once someone submits a completed response, Kith and Kin alerts you and enables you to proof the submission before final inclusion in the hardcover book. The book arrived 8-10 days after the final submission. It was well-presented on good paper and beautifully bound. My mother was so happy. I was too.
