We received a notification that a payment had been taken from our account by zendesk. On investigating we found that an old account we have not used in well over a year had auto renewed. We contacted zendesk the same day to explain we no longer used this product and asked to cancel and be refunded. They explained that because we had not cancelled before the renewal we were now locked into it for another year at a large cost. That is despite us contacting them within a few hours of the payment being taken. If you you do sign up with them, which we certainly would not recommend, then you need to be really careful to make sure your account does not get automatically enrolled in auto renewal. They have certainly burnt all bridges with us now, there's no chance we would ever use them for anything again.
