Subject: Feedback: Advertising Limitations on Zeno RadioHello Zeno Team,I’d like to share my honest experience so far:Positive aspects:✅ I can easily broadcast live events, and the streaming quality has been consistently good.Negative aspects:❗ However, I’ve been unable to place traditional advertising on the platform—only live-event promotions are supported. This was unexpected, as my previous provider (Radio.co) allowed seamless ad placement alongside live shows. With Zeno, I can monetize live events but not run standard commercial breaks or ad slots.This limitation significantly impacts monetization strategy. I switched from Radio.co expecting a similar experience and ease of use—but I’ve found the opposite.My current stance:Due to the constraints around advertising, my team and I are seriously considering reverting to Radio.co, where we had full control over ad scheduling and integration.Suggestions moving forward:Expand ad support: Please enable pre-recorded ad placements or customizable mid-roll ads, similar to those offered by Radio.co.Monetization clarity: It’d help greatly if Zeno could clearly outline which advertising options are available per plan. (For example, Premier allows direct seller ads and pre-rolls Improved flexibility: Consider providing options outside of live-event-only promotion, such as mp3-based commercial insertion or scheduling slots.In summary:I appreciate Zeno’s platform for live broadcasting, but until I can place traditional ads conveniently, I don’t see it meeting my monetization needs.
