I found a compatible wall plug at home and it charged my device. However, the nightstand feature won't illuminate despite adjusting settings and angles. The support contact indicates a response in 2-3 days, but I found no guidance on their website. It does work with newer models, but it was a disappointing gift for an older model user. It was returned to the store.
