Last week, I received a cold call from a Zoca salesperson (Indian woman with a very thick accent). When I asked if she was selling something, she said no. I then asked if she was offering a service, and she confirmed yes. Since I couldn't understand her and had no idea what Zoca offered, I politely declined. Small businesses get these calls ALL the time, and I had a patient waiting.I looked up Zoca online afterward and discovered they don't post pricing publicly—hardly transparent for a marketing company.Today, she called again. I explained that I had already tried social media marketing for 9 months with zero new patients, and I'm currently working with the local Small Business Association on my web presence. She spoke over me the entire time, making communication impossible.Even if Zoca offers competent services, their salesperson completely turned me off. Poor sales training and aggressive tactics lose customers.
