Joined Zopa one month ago via the moneysavingexpert recommendation for market leading interest rates. Had reason to engage with customer services today after four money transfers being sent to the wrong account. Raised this issue via live chat and it has taken over an hour, four agents and two chatbots to get it escalated to the appropriate technical team. Initial responses showed no efforts to understand or escalate the issue, just rectify and move the money to the intended location. It's a UK bank that appears to have outsourced customer services and seeing how ill-effective this is has undermined my confidence in keeping any volume of money in the account. The app is elementry, often missing features it states are there and I feel is not worth the risk for an extra margin of savings interest vs big name banks.
