They sent this ‘engineer’ Lee Moloney. He charged me £3840 and he installed us a boiler which retail price is between £700-£900 including VAT. When I asked for a break down of the price he said the policy of company said that they could only provide lump sum prices. I kept on ringing the company for a whole week and every time they said somebody would call me, nobody called me in the end. The last time they said the manager called Austin would call me but still no sign of him... This is the typical pattern of a scam, they see you are vulnerable, they charge you a fortune and have no transparency on their charges and they avoid your calls. It totally shocking that they can charge you £3K for a days work to install a boiler. Even Checkatrade establishes that the installation of a boiler is between £1K and £2K, this company is just having a laugh... At the expense of the customer. They should not be allowed on Checkatrade, they are proper cowboys. Shame on you 0800Homefix, shame on you Lee Moloney!!!!
