We hired 800 Homefix ltd for our kitchen sink plumbing problem. First of all, they asked to pay 120£ upfront, which we paid.
Before booking, I already told the agent that we have done a basic DIY check on our end and we would need the plumber to snake the sink to fix it because the problem is deeper. He agreed to it over the call.
When the plumber arrived, he did very basic things - plunger and chemical, which everyone knows only solves toplevel issues, and asked us to pay 340£ for using the machine. We asked which machine, and he didn't specify and just mentioned "any machine that will do the job", even if it costs 10£ or 300£, which sounded absurd to me. So basically we paid 120£ for basically for the engineer to do what we already did on our end. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We read some reviews related to similar issue, but the agent on call ensured us that they will fix the problem.. Maybe they forgot to add we will charge 340£ to actually fix it. It's very frustrating..
