I had a new boiler installed this morning along with a new thermostat. The electrician couldn't pair the thermostat unless it was in a room next to the boiler, which is in an attached garage. A booster was needed for it to function in the hallway, and since the electrician left, the thermostat won't pair with the boiler. Additionally, there were two leaks in the pipework. When I called for assistance, the earliest appointment for repairs is in late 2025, which is quite disappointing given my previous setup was functioning well.
