I bought original Brother inks that were listed as in stock. The next day, I received a call saying they were actually out of stock, but compatible ones were available instead. I explained that I prefer original inks, as I had issues with compatible ones in the past. The person assured me these would be 100% compatible and work perfectly, so I agreed — I urgently needed the inks.Once they arrived, I installed one cartridge and it worked fine… for a while. About a week later, my printer displayed the message: “Ink not recognized, please insert original ink.” Soon after, it asked to replace another color. And today, it completely stopped recognising the magenta ink, which is still almost full. This confirmed what I already knew — never again with compatible inks, only originals. I contacted support, but after several days, all I received were standard troubleshooting steps: uninstall, reinstall, reboot, etc. I don’t have time for that — I need a reliable printer every day, which is exactly why I’m willing to pay more for genuine inks.123inks, please stop selling this low-quality compatible ink and misleading your customers.
