My journey began at a coffee shop in Lincoln. It was my first time visiting. I often feel a bit anxious trying new places and ordering in unfamiliar settings, but I downloaded the app and got a complimentary coffee. A free drink is a fantastic motivator. The atmosphere inside was bustling in a pleasant way — vibrant but not chaotic. The warm smiles from the staff put me at ease. I ordered a latte, received a table card, and found a cozy spot. I tuned into a podcast and enjoyed some people-watching for a while. When my latte arrived, it featured beautiful latte art — something I’ve attempted but never succeeded at home — which brought a smile to my face. More importantly, the coffee itself was exceptional. I usually stick to the major chains because I tend to stay within my comfort zone, but this was truly a cut above. I savored it so much that it disappeared in no time.
