Paid an upfront fee of £180 at 9 a.m. and was told an engineer would arrive between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. By 2 p.m., I had received no updates. I had to reach out multiple times for information. I was told another engineer would be found and that I’d receive a call back, but by 5:30 p.m., I still hadn’t heard anything. After several attempts to contact them, I finally got a call back, but when I requested a refund due to the no-show, the representative hung up on me! Now I have to go through my bank to get my money back. Eight hours later, no engineer, and still no heating or hot water in a house with small children. Poor communication and customer service. Avoid this service; it’s not rapid or available 24/7.
