I reached out for a late-night emergency after another service let me down, and I’m so pleased I did. The engineer arrived in about 30 minutes, thoroughly checked my boiler, and had it operational within the hour. They adhered to the quoted price, which I found fair for a 4 a.m. call. What impressed me most was that the engineer didn’t just fix the boiler; they also bled my entire heating system and advised me on using it more efficiently to save on bills. Truly great service from start to finish.
Paid an upfront fee of £180 at 9 a.m. and was told an engineer would arrive between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. By 2 p.m., I had received no updates. I had to reach out multiple times for information. I was told another engineer would be found and that I’d receive a call back, but by 5:30 p.m., I still hadn’t heard anything. After several attempts to contact them, I finally got a call back, but when I requested a refund due to the no-show, the representative hung up on me! Now I have to go through my bank to get my money back. Eight hours later, no engineer, and still no heating or hot water in a house with small children. Poor communication and customer service. Avoid this service; it’s not rapid or available 24/7.
I spent £300 for emergency assistance, and the service was completely unsatisfactory. The engineer failed to perform basic checks and incorrectly claimed there was 'no gas supply.' This was entirely inaccurate. The next morning, a handyman quickly identified the real issue: the gas valve was closed. Once opened, the boiler worked immediately. I reached out to the company several times for a report and to express my dissatisfaction, but no one followed up. My calls and emails went unanswered. For a service claiming to be emergency-oriented, this level of negligence and lack of communication is unacceptable. I expected a professional diagnosis and resolution, but instead, I was left without heating or hot water overnight, and the company took no responsibility. I cannot recommend them based on this experience.
Steer clear of this company! I had to arrange an emergency callout for a leak, and they took over TWO HOURS to arrive while water was flooding. The pipe was exposed, yet we were charged for an hour and a half of labor because the engineer 'likes to take his time.' We saw him just standing around, texting. They promised a discount for their outrageous delay, but what we received was a removal of a 30% markup on materials they had never mentioned before! Since we provided the copper pipe, the so-called 'discount' only applied to two washers, which saved us almost nothing. This is a shameless business that exploits people in emergencies. Learn from our mistake and don’t fall into their trap. Unprofessional, overpriced, and incredibly frustrating.
