Review Time
Felipe went above and beyond to get my reviews to the finish line with Google. It's not as easy as one might think! But Felipe offered help all throughout the process and adapted his tool to meet changes in Google's policies.
I am glad someone have mentioned this tool on Shopify community. I could find many videos about people using Judge.me to upload their reviews manually on GMC, however noone mentioned how to do it with Yotpo free plan. I needed to get csv and turn it into a xml format that would GMC confirms. I could easily do this with Review2XML for an affordable price. There was a glitch but I could reach the developer through whatsapp. The developer was super helpful. Thanks for the great product and service.
I’ve been trying to publish my product reviews on Google Shopping recently, and honestly, the process was way harder than I expected. Google’s rules for review feeds are super strict — especially around product identifiers — and I kept running into all kinds of weird validation issues. After reading through Google’s requirements, I realized I needed to convert all my reviews into an XML file. I thought about writing it manually… but after looking at a few hundred reviews, that idea died quickly.I found a random Reddit comment recommending review2xml.com, so I gave it a shot.Because I don’t have GTINs, Google kept flagging my product_id as “missing or invalid.”I even tried treating my product_id as if it were GTIN, but of course, that didn’t work.So I went back to Google’s policy and noticed that if you don’t have GTINs, they expect mpn + brand + sku instead — otherwise they won’t match your reviews to the products in Merchant Center. The problem was: the tool didn’t have a brand field yet. So I reached out to the developer. He replied immediately — super friendly, super helpful. He fixed the GTIN issue right away, added the missing brand field for me, and even helped confirm that my image URLs were totally fine(I wasn’t sure if my image links would break the XML).It’s rare to get that kind of real-time support from any tool these days.I just uploaded the final XML feed, and Google Merchant Center is now showing “Ready to serve.”Sharing this because I know many people encounter the same headaches when trying to get review feeds accepted by Google Shopping. This method saved me a significant amount of time and trial and error. If you’re stuck on the same thing, check out review2xml.com.
