We acquired a 6-piece sectional from a company, and while our journey included a few significant learning experiences, the way the service addressed them truly deserves five stars. To provide context, we selected the 6-piece modular sectional in a Performance Textured Weave in a natural hue, full size (approximately 170" wide) with extra-deep cushions. The couch itself is remarkable — incredibly comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, accommodates a family easily, and is spacious enough for someone to sleep on. The extra-deep cushions create a seating area wider than a twin bed. The challenge we faced was not due to misuse or spills, but rather how the fabric performed compared to its advertisement. We adhered to all care instructions precisely — using cold water, a gentle cycle, appropriate detergent, air drying, and avoiding bleach or fabric softener. No dark or heavily pigmented substances were ever spilled on the couch. Nevertheless, the natural fabric displayed discoloration after routine washing and light cleaning, including residue from soap used during steam cleaning. Essentially, normal maintenance made the fabric appear worse, not better. It's also crucial to mention that washing this couch is quite a task. Fully disassembling the sectional, removing all covers, treating and washing them, air/hang drying, and then reassembling took us about 8 hours. Even when executed properly, the “washable” feature is far more labor-intensive than it seems — and in our case, the outcome did not meet expectations for a washable performance fabric. I wouldn’t advise opting for the professional assembly service. Our sectional was incorrectly assembled, and when we disassembled it ourselves later, we discovered missing hardware and misassembled parts. We ultimately reassembled it ourselves, and the company promptly sent the missing components once the issue was identified. This is where the service truly excels. When we expressed concerns that the product did not perform as promised despite following care instructions, their support team took it seriously. They reviewed photos and videos, confirmed our adherence to care guidelines, and replaced all our covers at no charge. They also resolved the hardware issues swiftly and professionally. My recommendations: - Avoid choosing the natural hue if washability is a priority (or if you have children or pets) - Bypass the assembly service and do it yourself - DO purchase the couch — it’s a high-quality product from a company that genuinely stands behind its offerings and rectifies issues when expectations are not met. The replacement covers are stunning, and despite the initial frustrations, we’re delighted with the final outcome and confident in our investment. While I believe the washability of the natural fabric is not as advertised, the company’s integrity and customer care certainly are.
