My dermatologist wanted me to go on SKYRIZI but it's $17,000 per injection. Obviously, there's no way we can afford that, because we have no income. We have no income, but my husband took money out of our retirement funds to pay off my incredibly high medical bills. Unfortunately, the people at Abbvie couldn't interpret that information even though our application very clearly showed the money came entirely from our retirement funds. I guess the people they have reviewing applications are too damned stupid to see that or ask any questions. My husband and I have to pay more every month for health insurance than we do our monthly mortgage, just so that I can get pain management. Maybe people reading this funny know, but the DEA has made out of network care a red flag for chronic pain patients. Pretty ironic because they endorse and encourage out of network care for addicts! So, PEOPLE WHO THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN CAN'T GET THE COVERAGE OR CARE THEY NEED BUT ADDICTS, PEOPLE WHO CHOSE TO SCREW UP THEIR LIVES GET THE CARE THEY NEED AND THEN SOME! My husband and I have ZERO INCOME but the people at Abbvie were too stupid to interpret their own application information and rejected our request for assistance. I'm so sick of healthcare in the United States!I definitely do not recommend anyone to to get assistance from Abbvie.
