I paid AbeloHost for hosting expecting to receive the service I purchased. Instead, after taking my money, they demanded personal ID verification with a selfie and my government ID next to their website. This requirement was never clearly mentioned before payment.When I refused to send my sensitive personal documents for privacy and security reasons, they simply refused to provide any service and kept my money. Their refund policy states that crypto payments are non-refundable, which basically means they can take your crypto and give you nothing in return.This is an unacceptable and unethical business practice. They took the payment first and then blocked the service behind KYC, making it impossible to use what I paid for.I strongly advise everyone to avoid AbeloHost if you value your money and your personal data. There are many offshore hosting providers who don’t operate this way. AbeloHost is just hiding behind policies to scam people out of their money without delivering anything.
