Please be careful when going to Absolute Pets Cantenbury Crossing. I had a stressful situation there today where I purchased goods and was charged by my bank for them. After leaving the store the staff member serving me Tsogo (I think is her name) came rushing after me asking if the transaction reflected on my side - which it did. After being told it was not reflecting on there end I went with her back to the store where I was told to sort her pay again or leave the items I purchased behind - despite having paid for them. I was told by Tsogo, who called her manager, that the first amount would be reversed within an hour and if it didn’t I should come all the way back to the store tomorrow to get a refund. I felt like I was being kept hostage for something I didn’t do, naively believing the amount would reverse I paid again. Tsogo assured me she would contact me within the hour to check if it had come back into my account. Of course she did not call. I called the store four hours ago and she told me she would send an email to the bank immediately. I asked to be copied. Needless to say - no email came my way. I have never experienced such unprofessional behaviour from an established store before. Now the onus is on me to fix this. They fkd up my Sunday and now my coming week which is likely to be spent fighting for my money back.
