This company ignored my emails initially, some 5 or 6 attempts to contact them. I had already purchased 5 of their products by this stage. When they did reply they wanted me to pay for the return of the item despite it being advertised/purchased with free returns. They then proceeded to ignore me for a further 4 to 5 times until they then decided they were not going to interact any longer. The matter is now being adjudicated by the payment provider. In addition to the terrible customer service this company consistently rely on false advertising to market their products…Their Thunderbolt 4 enclosures are actually just compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and only due to Thunderbolt 4 being backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3. The chipsets used are actually Thunderbolt 3 chipsets and as such your device will only ever perform to Thunderbolt 3 capabilities and will only ever negotiate with the host as a Thunderbolt 3 product. The marketing is very misleading as it implies you are getting a Thunderbolt 4 device.It is a shame they do not upgrade to the Thunderbolt 4 chipset and that they offer such poor customer service as the product really is very good and on par or even better than some of the more mainstream and well known/more established competitors’ products.
