Ghosted for 7 Weeks - They have my money AND my returned device (Order #ACSP17769)

I am writing this to warn others about Acasis warranty support. I purchased the 40Gbps Dual NVMe Enclosure (Order #ACSP17769) in December 2024.

The Hardware Failure:
The included thermal pads are defective. They adhered so strongly to the enclosure lid that when I opened the case for maintenance, the pads pulled the SSDs straight up, snapping the plastic connector off the PCB. This is a clear design flaw.

The Support Nightmare:
I followed their instructions and paid £12.90 out of my own pocket to ship the defective unit back to China.

Return Delivered: December 23, 2025 (Signed by "Bessy Chen").

The Promise: Support stated they would ship a replacement within "1-5 business days" of receipt.

The Reality: It has now been 7 WEEKS.

I have received no replacement unit and no refund for my shipping costs. Support has stopped replying to my emails completely. They currently have my original payment AND the returned hardware.

Effectively, I have been scammed. Do not buy from this company if you expect any customer service or warranty support.

DANGEROUS hardware failure - Damages MacBook battery - Terrible support

I am writing this to warn every MacBook user to avoid the ACASIS CM073 (10-in-1 Hub).My unit developed a critical hardware failure (Kernel error: 0xe0005000 / pipe stalled), which floods the macOS system logs hundreds of times per second. This happens even WITHOUT an SSD installed and after testing multiple high-quality Thunderbolt/USB4 cables, proving it is a faulty internal bridge chip.The most serious issue is that this constant kernel stress prevents the CPU from entering sleep states, causing extreme heat and rapid degradation of my MacBook Pro's battery. This hub isn't just broken; it is actively damaging the host computer it’s connected to.When I contacted ACASIS support with full technical logs, they ignored the evidence, provided generic template responses, and eventually refused any help, refund, or replacement, hiding behind a 1-year warranty period for a fundamental manufacturing defect that causes consequential damage to expensive hardware.They have been ghosting my emails for nearly a week now.STAY AWAY from Acasis if you value your MacBook's longevity. Their "support" is not good.

Order delivered after a shipping hiccup — supportive team and good outcome

In November 2025, I placed an order for several ACASIS devices during a promotion to use with my new Thunderbolt setup. The checkout process was smooth, and I was able to apply discount coupons without any issues. I received the usual email confirmations and an initial tracking number.After that, the tracking updates stalled for a while, and there was no clear information about the shipment status. Once I contacted support, ACASIS explained that the package had been returned from customs due to an incorrect assumption that delivery to my country wasn’t possible. The main drawback for me was the lack of proactive notification about the return — this caused unnecessary waiting and concern.Support responses were not instant, but generally arrived within 1–2 business days, which was acceptable. The communication was polite and to the point. A refund was offered, but I preferred to receive the products. ACASIS agreed to attempt shipping again, provided updated tracking information, and the second shipment arrived successfully in less than two weeks.Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome and appreciate the team’s willingness to resolve the issue instead of closing it with a refund. The only improvement I’d suggest is more proactive shipping status updates (especially if a shipment is returned or delayed), which would make the experience excellent.Thank you for creating innovative products. Please keep up the great work and continue improving customer experience.

excellent rapid troubleshooting response

Amazing! I followed your Acasis advice. After powering off my Mac Studio and disconnecting my TB501Pro for one minute. I held down the power button of the Mac Studio for 15 seconds, entered my password and WD4T icon (WD850X) appeared 1st time in a week!!!! I am now using the Apple TB5 expensive cable to get the best transfer speed and I also removed my OWC external backup disk (several years old ) to simplify troubleshooting. Thanks. I expect TB501Pro failure to be on Disk utility list no longer appears. Black Magic 5691.2write\5907.4read.

I'll never buy from them again.

I urge caution buying directly from them. It took 60+ days and dozens of emails to get my money back.Their delivery was WAY after the estimate. I was about to travel, but given their delivery estimate, it felt more than safe to have it come to my home than my travel address. The device was delivered 1.5 weeks after that estimate. There is never anyone on their live chat feature on their website and it took several emails to get aa reply. Once I did hear back, I asked them if they'd be willing to ship a new device to my travel address and I would return the device when I got back, was I got was an unfriendly and terse no. My only option would be return the device and the only way you can initiate a return is via email. I emailed them for a return label many times. All ignored. Finally, I CC'd everyone I could find on their website, and a return label came. When I returned to my address, I returned the item with photographic evidence. 6 weeks pass.After contacting Acasis several more times via email they finally replied that the device was received but I would get a refund only once my Trust Pilot review was removed or updated. This felt like extortion. At that point, I had neither a device nor my money.Again, I CC'd every email address I could find on their website, and finally got my refund. I am a very loyal customer when treated correctly. From the get go the customer service at Acasis was unduly aggressive and snide. All they had to do was offer to send me another device at my address and give me a 30-45 day window to return the device that was sent nearly 1.5 weeks after their delivery estimate to my previous address. I don't know how how well their products function, but my suggestion in never to buy directly from them. Use a third party vendor with enforced return policies or another company entirely.This transaction was a total nightmare.

Helpful customer service

Initially my product got stuck with in delivery , buh after few emails acasis solved the issue and switched the delivery agent. after Switching to UPS global the product was delivered within 4 days, Speaking about the product , I bought the 80 gbps ssd enclosure Tb 501 pro , which when paired with a WD_SN850x m.2 nvme gives great read and write speeds of 6000mbpsthank you Acasis for helping me out with the delivery and getting the product in time.Hope to purchase more items in the future.
