Ignore their customers

Posted 27 July: Bought a cabinet which was shown as 3-4 weeks delivery. I know lead times can be variable so I phoned and was told delivery times were very good at the moment and more likely to be 3 weeks. They were helpful in sending me measurements and pictures of the item. However this was a big con. The item was delayed. When I contacted them by email to find out what had happened, I was ignored. When I eventually got hold of someone by phone, I was told there was a delay. They couldn't tell me how long. In the end the item arrived 8 weeks later. I wouldn't have had a problem with this if I had been kept informed. I was constantly chasing them for information, and repeatedly ignored when emailing. The last time I spoke to the manager, I was told they'd refund me 20% for the delay. But more than a month later, no refund. And no reply to my email when I asked about it. It's appalling that companies like this position themselves as premium but fail to offer premium service. I never asked for a refund and would have been fine if they apologised sincerely, empathised, and kept me informed of the delay. I had my eye on a few other items but unfortunately I will not shop with this company ever again on principle.The replies to reviews from the owner are unacceptable. It doesn't matter how many orders you ship per week or how busy you are. Keeping customers informed who have paid is a crucial part of service. My advice to customers: if you find an item you like, source it from elsewhere. I was happy with the product and realised later many other reputable suppliers offering the same.Reply to owner 11 sept: As is always the case with companies like this, they have made no attempt to check their email or refund me as they promised. I don't see why I should be contacting you. I'm not on your pay roll. If you cared about keeping your customers happy, you should prioritise responding to emails rather than trying your save face on review platforms.
