ABSOLUTE JOKE I am writing this review from the point of view of a motor dealer. Having dealt with this company in the past through a third party, I was told that they would be inspecting another of my vehicles. I relayed to the company the issues I had had previously and was assured that the inexperienced inspector would not be visiting againAnother inspector arrived and proceeded to look at my vehicle which was reported to have a suspected gearbox issue.To my amazement, NO issue was 'found' by this inspector. Needless to say, I had this vehicle booked in at main dealer for further inspection so a report could be forwarded to the third party employing these people and the A.C.E themselves.The issues found by maindealer were the suspected issues we had also.The invoice for repairs amounted to just over £4700!There was a gearbox issue.I then proceeded to make a phone call to A.C.E. This was an experience in itself. Having been passed to 4 different customer services reps and having had to explain each time the same issue, I was passed to a manager.He was down right rude, dismissive and patronising.His claim was that as the vehicle 'crawled' forwards on the inspection, it was fine and enough to pass the 'test'.The company I bought the vehicle from accepted the report and took back the car.A.C.E will never inspect one of our vehicles again and all parties have been informed of this.
