I have a Mini Cooper paceman and the cam belt broke & in turn broke all other parts to my car. I took my car to Bartlett who are a BMW Specialists for more than 20+ years. BMW took the engine apart showed photos of the cam belt broken, BMW also showed all the parts broken. So it was clear what happened. Warranty wise instructed these people and a Mr David Picworth Was my inspector. What a contradicting document he produced!? He basically said it was wear and tear and it was my error, he couldn’t diagnose the issue until further dismantle of the engine. He wanted parts that where working taken apart! Because of his sillyness warranty wise declined my claim until further dismantling was carried out!!! For WHY??? he said in one sentence yes the cam belt is broken but he needed to see something else? At this point I thought no David is working for warranty wise. At this point it was declared that they have a contract with warranty wise!!?? Anyway BMW wrote a detailed letter advising what they where asking for made no sense what so ever as those parts he wanted where fine. BMW where blown away at the request. Because of the detailed letter BMW explained how the engine worked and why what he was asking for made no sense warranty wise changed their mind and approved my claimI also want to find out why you have a contract with warranty wise if you are meant to be a third party? That seams odd to me? What are the hidden KPI’s every business has those? What are the hidden bonuses you get? I don’t trust your business relationship with warranty wise and this will be looked into. David, thank you again for wasting my time and providing me such a contradicting report. It was actually my WhatsApp and Snapchat storey because I just couldn’t believe the contradiction! Indeed has other job opportunities if you are interested! It might be best? ACE is dodgy and I will be contacting them to raise a complaint prior to taking it to the ombudsman, I won’t be happy with what ever you suggest I have to play the game before taking it to ombudsman.
