I purchased an AMR5 mini PC from Ace Magic/Ace Magician, attracted by its strong specs and premium positioning.The unit failed just a month or so after the warranty expired. What followed was one of the most frustrating support experiences I’ve encountered. Despite providing a detailed history of my purchases—including multiple units deployed professionally across the UK, Ireland, France, and the US—I received nothing but vague, repetitive responses.Support repeatedly offered “a discount on the new one” without ever specifying which model, what the specs were, or what the final cost would be. I asked multiple times for a list of options with full specifications and final pricing. They never engaged meaningfully.The circular nature of their replies appears designed to wear down customers until they give up. It’s evasive, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing—especially for a brand that positions itself as reliable and performance-focused.If you’re considering Ace Magician products, be aware: the hardware may look good on paper, but if anything goes wrong, you may find yourself completely unsupported.I’ve since moved to alternative suppliers and will not be purchasing from this brand again.
