The customer service is terrible, the app doesn’t process payments correctly and the customer service can’t do anything about it. They won’t fix it on the back end or fix the app. I called to tell them I lost my job, I had paid for the insurance and one of the benefits was I could be eligible for no payments if I put enough into the insurance. I did and I sent them everything they asked for and still never got anything back from them. They resumed payments hoping I had a job. I did by that time but why pay for the insurance if I couldn’t use it when I really needed it? And the customer service people said it was a different third party that still was Acima that dealt with this? Like that in itself was confusing so I got nothing but I’m sorry I can’t help. I processed my last buy out payment and it never went through, i once again didn’t get a denial or anything from the app and went about my day. Next day I came back to the app to see the payment was never processed and I now owe my payment plus the next or a “discounted” pay off. This place has no accountability for their app and has refused to fix the issues. Don’t use them, use Afterpay if possible.
