I've been doing various acting workshops and classes for years now. This workshop is certainly a level above in terms of quality and value. Being on a set, learning about the truth behind screen acting and what a typical day is like, and then watching an experienced Director in his element, was a unique experience which was one of the best things i've ever done. I've struggled for years to create a self-tape or showreel. This workshop has given me the confidence and motivation to pursue this career with confidence. For the first time I've seen myself on camera and not wanted throw it away, and that is down to the masterful Nathan and the AD, Zak. Who both conducted a professional, fun, insightful acting workshop at the legendary Pinewood Studios. If you are reading this to find out if it's worth it amongst the many other acting workshops in and around London, my advice is to look no further. Actors studio at Pinewood offers a truly amazing learning experience. If you are considering taking acting classes, this is the place to be. I started with the masterclass in the beginning of the year and i was so pleased with how well everything was planned throughout. From the very first class, it was clear that the tutors were passionate about their work and were highly knowledgeable. The training was intensive, but highly rewarding. Supportive environment, where you can step outside of your comfort zone and explore yourself as a performer. Both tutors and fellow actors offer a feedback on your performance, focusing on both strengths and areas for improvement, allowing you to feel encouraged and motivated to grow even further. I had tons of support and guidance whilst shooting my showreels. Even though I was nervous at first, i was quickly put at ease by their gentle encouragement and boost in confidence. All the crew was super friendly and ready to help in any way possible. And when i received my showreel footage, i was speechless. It was so professionally done, i couldn't have wished for anything better. Since then, i have done another 4 in studio courses and one online. And each and every one of them was better than the other. Every tutor had their own unique information, experience, tips and tricks to share, which was truly invaluable. No matter what stage of the acting journey you are in, they have courses to suit any actor.I am so glad i chose this place and i will be back for another course next year.

Actors Studio is an incredible place for actors to grow, and train at any point of their careers. The staff are friendly, informative and have enormous deposits of knowledge. I'll definitely be booking 2/3 courses at Actors Studio per year. You won't find anything like this anywhere else.
The team are fantastic; very knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. Everyone there is passionate about the industry and that passion is infectious! I loved learning from Sarah for the first two days of the 5-day Sceen Acting and Showreel Course, and then working with Taz and Nathan for the filming days was a wild experience. The professionalism is incredible and you feel in very safe hands.Zak and Fin were both super helpful and answered all my questions... of which there were many! All in all, I was very happy with the quality of the course and felt like I learned a huge amount in only 5 days. 100/10 would recommend.
Actors Studio is a unique place where you can learn, and develop your skills in an incredibly friendly and professional atmosphere.Everyone is incredibly helpful and nice. In a few days, you can learn more than in a month on other courses. The knowledge is very practical. I especially recommend the 5-Day Screen & Showreel courses and any courses led by Mel Churcher.I will be coming back to the Studio for more!
I am glad that I booked the course at Actors Studio UK. I really learned a lot while also refining the knowledge I already had acquired.It was a good learning atmosphere and our tutors really took their time to explain, feedback and help us grow. I can't rate this course highly enough and I've been on a few.Given the fact that it is a day long, Nathan was incredibly thorough with each individual. He seemed to instinctively know how to get the best performance from each actor.I learned a lot from watching each take that I wasn't in as well. Watching playback isn't included on the day long course, which I felt wasn't actually needed anyway.In short, I left feeling worked and inspired.
It was truly amazing! I loved the way of teaching, the group, the input and the way we could learn. Right onsite hands-on. A true recommendation to anyone who loves to act and wants to gain experience, learn from professionals in a truly inspiring environment.
