I rarely leave reviews, but this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had dealing with a healthcare provider.
I was approved for a CPAP machine on March 16 and was told it would arrive within two weeks. When it didn’t show up, I called on March 30 (the last day of that window) and their automated system told me it was out for delivery and would arrive by 9pm. It never came.
I called back the next day and was told their AI system was having issues and that my CPAP had never actually been shipped. Instead, it was still waiting for approval. The person I spoke with said they pushed it through and I should expect it within 7 days.
That week passed and still nothing.
I called again on April 7 and was told it was somehow still in “pending” status. I got transferred six times, was hung up on once, and eventually was told I’d get a call from scheduling within 48 hours. I never received any call or email.
I followed up again on April 10 and was told I’d get a callback by the end of the day. That never happened either.
It’s now April 13. I’m currently on hold again while writing this.
At this point it’s not just the delay, it’s the lack of communication and follow-through. I’ve been given incorrect information, false delivery updates, and multiple promises of callbacks that never happened.
This is doctor-prescribed medical equipment, not something optional, and the delays and lack of coordination are unacceptable.
If anyone from AdaptHealth sees this, I need help getting this resolved and actually receiving my CPAP.
