I really enjoyed this course. As a college student about to graduate, it was nice to have the access to the course throughout that time and also be self-paced. Once I started working full-time, that aspect made me like the course even more. I also have been using a lot of the information I learned during the lessons in my job as an MA, which is quite exciting. The only downside is the time limit requirements for some of the NHA modules. As a former CNA, a few of them were redundant but I needed to stay in them for at least 30 minutes, which became tedious. Overall, very pleased with the course.
The instructors are very responsive, and you can tell that they care. These courses include a variety of resources for support with classes and exams. The resume editor and interview tips have been extremely insightful and make you feel more confident and prepared.
My experience with the CCMA course from Advanced eClinical Training (ACT) was overall positive. I recently passed my CCMA certification exam. I believe this course prepared me well for it, and I felt confident by the time I took the exam. What stood out to me about this course is that it is completely online, which allows for self-paced learning. I enjoyed being able to go through the course at my own pace, and I could easily fit it into my schedule. I liked that although this course is online, the ACT team and instructors reply quickly to any emails, and you are guided step-by-step on how to sign up for your exam and externship. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to become a CCMA.
Overall a very cohesive lesson plan for learning the required material to succeed as a CCMA. The self-paced format allows for less deadlines which led to less stress overall. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a cost-effective and manageable certification.
